Anne Marie Wells is an author and freelance illustrator living in the North Texas area. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, drawing, BJJ, and spending hours lost in the realms of her imagination. As a child, she was homeschooled and would habitually dig through the stack of her daily schoolwork to find any writing assignments so that she could complete them first. Later, she discovered a love of drawing and eventually decided that her dream job was to write and illustrate her own books.
In 2019, Anne Marie graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in studio art and a master’s degree in commercial art. Currently, she works as a freelance artist and teaches art and art history at a homeschool co-op.
